Merry Christmas, America!

With the holiday season in full swing--it just feels like Christmas, doesn't it? I mean, with the Communist-Oligarchs destroying every last remnant of Liberty, and the spending whores in Congress flushing our economy down the toilet, and the EPA threatening--THREATENING--to pound in the last nails of our economic coffin through Carbon Dioxide capping; I am just jolly with Christmas Cheer.

So, during these, the last days of the American Republic, it is time to take a look around and see if this is the Country we remember.

Health Care Reform

The majority party in Congress has pulled of their "hat trick" and the GOP bought it, hook, line and sinker. Duchess Pelosi and Duke Harry started by pulling off the numbers. They got the CBO to say the plan was "Deficit Neutral", thereby appeasing the President's facade of suddenly being a deficit-hawk. They did so by threatening to cut MediCare by about five hundred billion dollars. The GOP seized upon this as a fatal flaw in the new plan as being detrimental to America's seniors. Progressive Republicans being as stupid as they are, failed to see that MediCare is the Government-Run menace that the Tea Party and the 9.12 Project were arguing against. Once the Democrats had the Republicans on record as saying they support keeping MediCare as is, The Duke and Duchess, along with Baron Max Baucus, could spring the trap.

Suddenly the Dems flip!

Now Nancy, Harry, Max and Barry have the GOP locked in. Speaker Pelosi suddenly and ominously declares that she loves the idea of dropping the "public option" in exchange for expanding MediCare and MedicAid (the real public options), and thanks in full to a power-starved and completely inept GOP, the feared, reviled and rebuked nationalized, socialist health care reform package will pass the Senate; and be finally signed by President Obama before Christmas.

Cap and Trade

The EPA announced this week that if the Congress does not act on Cap and Trade, then it will be forced to regulate the dirty, nasty, pollutant carbon dioxide by capping its production. That move, will make the economy grind to a painful halt.

That's not the problem. The real problem is the unadulterated abuse of power by the Executive Branch and the feigning of impotence by the US Congress in their ability to stop them. The horse-faced Senator, John Kerry, came out and basically said that if the Congress doesn't do something now, the EPA will destroy the US Economy. What the Democrat-controlled Congress is counting on, is that the average American is ignorant to the whole concept of how the government actually works; and by default, the American Citizen will concede the horrifying economic reality of Cap and Trade as the newest part of the economy.

It will also pass, because We, the People, are now powerless to stop it. So, we can now expect an additional one hundred forty-five trillion dollars to be siphoned out of our economy over the first ten years of its existence. Cap and Trade and the resulting treaty that the global powers are now working on in Copenhagen stand to bleed our economy dry for the benefit of despotic third world countries all over the world.

The, Thus Far Unmentioned, Foreign Policy

Over the last few weeks I have been mulling over the Boy-who-would-be-King's Afghanistan and Iraq policies, trying to find a silver lining--something to justify the acquiescence of the World's One Power to the backwater tyrants in the Muslim world. Tragically, I can see no positive light. It is Surrender, plain and simple.

The United States of America has declared in a weak and emasculated voice, "We give up." My comrades-in-arms have died over the last decade for no reason whatsoever. The lives lost on September 11, 2001 shall never see justice. We as a nation are finished.

There is now, no further reason to stay in any of our bases, nor a reason to continue operations anywhere overseas. We may as well bring all of our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen home. Never mind that we are the most devastatingly efficient and powerful military in the world. Our politicians have no spine for war. They have no stomach for Freedom or Victory.

This is the reality of the state of the United States of America during the Christmas season of 2009. Our Republic is lost, but don't worry, we will be an Empire soon. It will just be a Soviet Empire.
